Buyer's Tips

Make Sure It Will Resale

You should always consider 'resale' a top priority when purchasing a home. Nothing is worse than owning a home that nobody else wants, leaving you stuck in your investment. To avoid this situation, consider these items when buying:

  • The number one consideration is location, location, and location. A high-demand property will easily resell.
  • What is the community like? See communities
  • Are the public schools strong?
  • Is the local economy strong?
  • What local government services (like libraries, parks, etc.) are provided?
  • Are the taxes relatively low?
  • Is property in the neighborhood still in demand, or past its prime?
  • Are the streets safe for kids to play?
  • Is the house convenient to the Interstate, shops, mall, etc.?
  • How would you classify the curb appeal of the house?
  • Is the lot desirable?
  • Is the home the least or most expensive in the neighborhood?
  • What are the house's positives and negatives?
