Marshall County, located approximately 45 minutes south of Nashville, is a vital part of Tennessee History. The area is home to two unique breeds of animal, Tennessee walking horse and the fainting goat. Because of these unique animals, the county holds an annual festival, “Goats, Music and more.” The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association also make Marshall County its home.
